Father's Day Gift Ideas
Father's Day is just around the corner and you may be wondering what super gift to get pops this year, that might out-do last years steak dinner coupon. If your dad is like mine....a football fanatic, who loves anything gridiron. Then maybe something pigskin related will cure his off-season case of the blues. You can even get his gear customized on the Father's Day-specific site! Check it out HERE! It's a day to honor the guy who (more than likely) taught you about sports and described the fair-catch rule to you. So there is a definition of Halo that doesn't involve video games (that's my poor attempt at a joke). Regardless, just remember, he's your dad, so at the very least hangout and chuck the leather around with him.

Top Selling NFL Jerseys 2009
After reviewing some of the numbers from last year, and comparing with other websites, I have compiled a list of the Top 20 most popular NFL jerseys from 2009 (last season). You can find all these jerseys and more at My Store, or you can click on the picture, or player name, to go straight to the check-out for that specific jersey. I've also linked the NFL team (to the right of the player), so you can go straight to the team listed if you have a player, or item, from that team that isn't in our countdown. Since I don't prefer countdowns I'll give it all away off the top.
#1. Brett Favre (New York Jets)
#2. Tony Romo (Dallas Cowboys)
#3. Eli Manning (New York Giants)
#4. Troy Polamalu (Pittsburgh Steelers)
#5. Marion Barber (Dallas Cowboys)
#6. Adrian Peterson (Minnesota Vikings)
#7. Jason Witten (Dallas Cowboys)
#8. Peyton Manning (Indianapolis Colts)
#9. LaDainian Tomlinson (San Diego Chargers)
#10. Ben Roethlisberger (Pittsburgh Steelers)
This is our intermission, and a chance for you to catch your breath. Personally, I was surprised that Matt Ryan didn't break the Top 10....I know what everyone is thinking, how could he think that? Well, Matty Ice was the Offensive Rookie of the Year, and Top Selling Rookie jersey, but I guess pitted against League Vets he didn't stand much of a chance. Maybe next year... And, of course we see Brett ("the Ironman") Favre at the top due to his changing teams in the off-season. Eli made the jump to the top 3 because of his Super Bowl MVP performance 2 years ago. The Pittsburgh Steelers make their presence felt with Troy and Big Ben (and Steeler Nation gets it's league leading sixth Super Bowl victory this past year....in case you hadn't heard). Plus Dallas' trio of top players in Tony, Marion "the Barbarian," & Jason. Alright, moving on to the best of the rest, the 11-20 top jersey sellers are on the way.
#11. Tom Brady (New England Patriots)
#12. Terrell Owens (new) (Dallas Cowboys)
#13. Brett Favre (Green Bay Packers)
#14. Brian Westbrook (Philadelphia Eagles)
#15. Devin Hester (Chicago Bears)
#16. DeMarcus Ware (Dallas Cowboys)
#17. Matt Ryan (Atlanta Falcons)
#18. Brian Urlacher (Chicago Bears)
#19. Jay Cutler (new) (Denver Broncos)
#20. Brandon Jacobs (New York Giants)
WOW! I didn't think that Brady would even crack the top 25, especially since he was injured all last year. Favre hits the list twice for two different teams, that has to be a first, haha. Runner-up Defensive Player of the Year, DeMarcus ware cashes in on his league-leading 20 sacks. Matt Ryan slips into the Top 20, and Cutler & Jacobs are welcomed new-comers to The List. That was pretty exciting, and I can't wait to see how this year's rookies perform on the field this year, as well as in jersey sales next year. I hope all of you found this as educational and informative as I did. Have an awesome day!
